Healing Strides Now Accepting Select Commercial Insurance Plans for Mental Health Services

Boones Mill, VA. - August 14th, 2026 - Healing Strides announced today that they are now accepting select Commercial and Medicare insurance plans for its Mental Health Services, helping make professional mental health care more accessible to individuals throughout the region.

“This is an important step toward expanding access to compassionate mental health care within our community” said Carol Young, CEO of Healing Strides. “We are committed to meeting people where they are and reducing barriers that may prevent individuals and therefore families from receiving the support they need.”

Healing Strides currently accepts Commercial and Medicare plans through:

Insurance coverage applies only to Mental Health Services provided by Healing Strides. It does not apply to Education and Coaching Services or Therapeutic Horsemanship Services. At this time, Healing Strides accepts Commercial and select Medicare insurance plans only.

Coverage and eligibility may vary by individual plan and should be verified before services begin.

This development is part of Healing Strides broader effort to thoughtfully expand its Mental Health Services and respond to growing needs of the region. By increasing access to professional care, strengthening community partnerships and continuing to pursue additional insurance options, Healing Strides is working to ensure that more people can receive meaningful support when they need it.
