Art & Horses

Healing Strides and the Roanoke Vet Center welcome women service members, veterans, and spouses to a morning of arts and horses!  The crafts for the day will be Horseshoe Dreamcatchers and Horse Charm Bracelets/Anklets for you to take home!  We will have supplies here at Healing Strides, though you are welcome to bring some of your own if you'd like to do so. While creating your art, you will be able to look out the windows at our incredible therapy horses--and even have a chance to meet one! We will have liability waivers for each attendee to sign upon arrival. Staff will be available to answer any question regarding services available to service members, veterans, and their families. No registration is required.
