"Once a Hero" Movie Premiere Screening Event

Join Healing Strides and the writers, producers, and actors for a special night as we present the premiere of "Once A Hero"!

This Indie Western film tells the story of a civil war hero and his journey battling dementia and PTSD. As he navigates his post-war changing family dynamics, he must remember who he was and what he stood for in order to help young kids escape the dangers that follow them. For this one time event, the showing will be hosted inside the covered Harry and Lavon Webb arena where we serve our own community, including those battling similar life challenges as the characters we will see on screen!

This viewing is not only a great way to help support the programs at HSVA as a fundraiser, but also the ticket holders may find themselves with the opportunity to meet some of the actors and writers of the film for more in-depth conversation about why they created this film and why they support our work.
